29-Year-Old Bahraini Woman Killed, Eight Injured in Manama Incident

A 29-year-old Bahraini woman has died and eight others were injured following an incident in Manama, authorities confirmed.

According to Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior, the woman succumbed to her injuries while several others sustained varying degrees of injuries in the incident that occurred in the capital. Emergency teams were immediately dispatched to the scene to manage the situation and assist those affected.

The General Directorate of Civil Defence led the response, providing emergency medical assistance and transporting the injured to nearby hospitals for treatment. Authorities confirmed that eight people were hurt in the incident and are currently receiving medical care.

Major Mohammed Abulfath, Director of Operations at the General Directorate of Civil Defence, said teams carried out a thorough inspection of the building involved to ensure that no additional individuals were trapped or injured.

Emergency crews also implemented precautionary measures to secure surrounding buildings and the nearby area while the site was carefully assessed for safety risks.

Officials later confirmed that nearby structures were inspected and secured before the location was handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
