Al Salam Bank to Resume Operations Across All Branches on March 25
Bahrain-based lender confirms full reopening as services return to normal across its branch network.
Al Salam Bank has announced that it will resume full operations across all its branches starting Wednesday, March 25, 2026, following a temporary disruption to in-person services.
The bank confirmed that all branches will reopen and function normally, restoring full access to over-the-counter services for customers across the Kingdom. The move comes after a period during which certain branches were either closed or operating with limited services due to prevailing regional circumstances.
During the disruption, the bank continued to provide essential services through its digital banking platforms and ATMs, ensuring customers could still carry out key transactions. This included cash withdrawal services and other self-service banking options, which were expanded to maintain convenience and accessibility.
The decision to fully reopen reflects improving operational conditions and the bank’s readiness to resume standard services while maintaining safety measures for both customers and staff.
Industry observers note that the swift restoration of branch operations highlights the resilience of Bahrain’s banking sector amid ongoing regional uncertainties. Other financial institutions in the country had also adjusted their services in recent days, prioritising customer safety and service continuity.
Customers are encouraged to stay updated through official communication channels for any further announcements and to take advantage of both in-branch and digital banking services as operations return to normal.
