Traditional Bands to Bid Farewell to Ramadan in Bahrain

The 29th edition of the Annual Heritage Festival started on April 5th and will run until April 8th in Souq Al Baraha', featuring Bahrain's 'Ramadan Traditions'. 

Here are some highlights of the festival that you do not want to miss:

Handicrafts

The festival features various handicrafts such as Al Naqda, Al Kurar, palm tree paper, traditional chest making, Naseej weaving, boat making, and much more. 

Traditional Folk Art Performances

Various traditional music bands will be performing at the festival including Dar Bin Harban, Ismaeel Dawas, Dar Shabab Al Riffa, and others. These bands engage with various Bahraini arts such as Al Ardah, Al Khammari, folk lyrical heritage, Al Nagazi, and much more.

The festival is hosting various activities for children including Hazawi storytelling, Al Dawwamah, Al Mudood, Al Laqfa, and many more. 

Traditional Souq and Ramadan Delicacies

The festival is hosting various local and traditional retail outlets. The festival also features traditional Ramadan delicacies such as rgag bread, lugaimat, and much more.
