Ramadan Nights 2026 Horse Racing Series to Begin on Feb. 19

Under patronage of Sheikh Nasser, Bahrain launches festive Ramadan Nights horse racing series featuring top races, entertainment and fan competitions.

Bahrain’s much-anticipated Ramadan Nights 2026 horse racing series is set to begin on Thursday, 19 February 2026, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, marking an exciting highlight in the kingdom’s racing calendar.

The opening event, scheduled to start at 8:15 p.m. at the Rashed Equestrian & Racing Club track in the Riffa area, will feature the prestigious Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Cup along with cups named for his children — Sheikha Shaima bint Nasser, Sheikh Hamad, Sheikh Mohammed, Sheikh Hamdan and Sheikh Khalid bin Nasser.

The occasion also serves as the 20th race of the 2025/2026 racing season, combining elite competition with festive Ramadan entertainment for spectators of all ages. Fans attending the series can enjoy a blend of thrilling racing action and social activities tailored for evening enjoyment during the holy month.

In addition to live racing, attendees can take part in the popular “Select 6” contest, where participants submit predictions for winning horses across races and compete for substantial cash prizes. Entries for the contest are open at the official Bahrain Select 6 website.

Tickets for the opening race and subsequent Ramadan Nights events are available through the official website of the Rashed Equestrian & Racing Club and at the venue entry gates on race days.
