Autumn Fair 2026 Attracts Over 200,000 Visitors

The 36th Autumn Fair has concluded at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre with a resounding success, drawing more than 200,000 visitors over its 10-day run and cementing its position as one of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s premier commercial and entertainment events.

Organised by Informa Markets Bahrain in partnership with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), this year’s edition recorded robust growth across multiple key metrics compared with 2025, reflecting growing regional and international interest.

Ms Dana Osama Al Saad, Vice President of Resources and Projects at BTEA, said the 2026 Autumn Fair’s success underscores the strength of integrated public-private sector partnerships and highlights the important role large exhibitions play in boosting Bahrain’s tourism and commercial sectors.

According to Al Saad, sales surged by 112.6 per cent compared to last year, while the number of exhibitors rose by 15.7 per cent and participating countries grew by 8.3 per cent. Additionally, the event’s exhibition space expanded by 40 per cent, providing a broader platform for showcasing products and services.

Mr Mohammed Ibrahim, General Manager of Informa Bahrain, noted that the Autumn Fair has become a well-established annual platform blending shopping, entertainment and business opportunities, offering value for both exhibitors and visitors alike.

The 2026 Autumn Fair hosted more than 600 exhibitors from over 24 countries, enhancing its global footprint and variety of offerings. The strong GCC presence included participants from Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, contributing to a diverse array of products and services available at the event.

International pavilions showcased thousands of imported products, many being introduced to the Bahraini market for the first time, creating a unique shopping experience for visitors and further enhancing Bahrain’s status as a regional exhibition hub.

The Autumn Fair’s record turnout and expanded scale have highlighted Bahrain’s growing confidence as a destination for large-scale international events, supported by its modern facilities and infrastructure. Officials say the event’s success reinforces the kingdom’s appeal as a leading regional hub for tourism, shopping and business engagements.

Organisers have expressed optimism that this year’s achievements will fuel further development in future editions, ensuring the Autumn Fair continues to be a key fixture on the regional events calendar with broader impact on Bahrain’s economy and cultural tourism landscape.

As the curtain falls on the 2026 Autumn Fair, stakeholders are already looking ahead to future editions with ambitions to continue expanding offerings, international participation and overall visitor experience.
