Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, has achieved a major milestone in its recovery journey, restoring 75% of its global flight network across the Middle East, Europe, the Indian Subcontinent, and Africa. The airline is now operating flights to 40 destinations in 24 countries, with plans to gradually reintroduce additional routes and frequencies in the coming weeks.
By June 1, 2026, Gulf Air aims to fully restore its entire network, ensuring seamless connectivity for passengers through Bahrain. The airline’s CEO, Martin Gauss, commended the dedication of Gulf Air’s staff for maintaining continuity during the recovery period and reaffirmed the carrier’s commitment to reliable services and high standards.

Support for Affected Passengers
To assist travelers impacted by the temporary disruptions, Gulf Air has introduced flexible rebooking options:
- One complimentary date change for confirmed bookings until June 30, 2026.
- Rebooking available until March 31, 2027.
- Extension of Falcon Flyer loyalty benefits, including miles, points, and tier statuses, which were set to expire between March and May 2026, now valid until June 30, 2026.
Passengers are encouraged to manage their bookings via Gulf Air’s website and mobile app for the latest updates.
