New F&B Director for The Merchant House
The Merchant House has appointed Ganesh Chalangodan as its F&B director. Chalangodan will lead the hotel's food and beverage division with new ideas and inspiration, with plans to offer exciting dining concepts while ensuring that guests continue to receive the best food and beverage experience when dining at the hotel.
Justin Kim, General Manager of The Merchant House welcomed the new Food & Beverage director and said, "We’re delighted to have Ganesh Chalangodan as a part of the team, where he will lead and mentor a vibrant team to enhance the property's food and beverage offerings. We look forward to working together to implement new and exciting ideas and to creating exceptional culinary experiences and signature gourmet memories for our guests”.
On the other hand, Ganesh Chalangodan said "I am hugely excited about my new role as director of food and beverage for The Merchant House Hotel and having the opportunity to work in Bahrain's first 5-star boutique hotel. About Ganesh Chalangodan
With more than 20 years of experience in hospitality, Chalangodan has held key management positions with some of the finest hotels in India and Maldives before joining The Merchant House family. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Tourism and Hospitality from Brussels University and a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Science and Catering Management from Bharathiar University in Coimbatore, India. Also, He has a long list of accomplishments to his name, including Best Food & Beverage Manager of the Year and Leader of the Year 2019.
So, with his experience and versatility in managing high-profile hotels, Ganesh Chalangodan's appointment will ensure that guests continue to have the best culinary experiences and service possible, as well as drive F&B innovation and creativity.
