Although parenting is a universal responsibility, the practices of parenting children are very diverse across the globe. Parenting practices frequently vary from one culture to another, and values and social norms influence how parents behave, which can be surprising to outsiders. These traditions illustrate the ways in which various cultures raise their young.These traditions show how each culture teaches its young to be independent and how each family values the bond between themselves and their children.
