Astronomers have discovered an intriguing exoplanet about 330 light-years away that is attracting interest for its odd size and temperature. The planet is roughly the size of Saturn, but lies in a "temperate" zone where it is much cooler than the gas giants normally found in other planetary systems around the world. This world seems to be shrouded in a dense layer of methane gas, providing an intriguing glimpse into the formation of giant planets in less extreme cosmic conditions, researchers say.
