A comprehensive plan is being developed by the Ministry of Municipalities and Agriculture to make Bahrain's Almond Festival an annual event.
The event involved 18 farms, 3 projects, productive families, and 11 restaurants specializing in almond-based products.

Bahrain launched its first-ever Almond Festival on July 8th at the Farmers' Market Site in the Budaiya Botanical Garden.
The festival runs from 4 pm to 9 pm until July 15th.
the Ministry of Municipalities and Agriculture will also distribute 1,000 almond seedlings during the festival so that visitors can grow these plants at home.
