Bahrain recorded the highest-ever electricity consumption rate in the country's history on Thursday, Aug. 3 with 3798 megawatts!

The previously recorded highest electricity consumption rate was 3708 megawatts on Aug. 18 2022.

The Electricity and Water Authority has requested locals and residents to adopt practices that are environmentally friendly and promote energy conservation.
The Ministry of Electricity and Water Affairs signed an agreement in April to open five EV charging stations in Bahrain, which is a step towards an environmentally friendly lifestyle.
