From Likes to Real Skills

This new course is built for today’s digital-first world. Students will learn how social media platforms actually work, how to use them professionally, and how to create content that stands out while meeting global standards.

The goal is simple: help students build strong digital identities and prepare them for careers where online presence matters just as much as a CV.

A Non-Academic Track With Real-World Focus

Unlike regular university courses, this program runs as a non-academic training track. That means less theory, more doing.

Students will work on real content, understand platform algorithms, and learn how to stay relevant in fast-moving digital spaces—all skills that are now in demand across industries.

Nuqta Platform Brings Industry Voices to Campus

As part of the collaboration, UTB joins Nuqta Platform as a strategic partner. Nuqta is known for empowering young creators and offers training led by experienced regional content creators, including its founder Omar Farouk.

These sessions aim to help students communicate confidently online while staying responsible and authentic.

Preparing Students for the Digital Job Market

UTB President Dr. Hassan Ali Al Mulla said the move reflects the university’s wider role in preparing students for future job markets, not just classrooms.

Omar Farouk echoed the idea, noting that social media has become a powerful tool for creating opportunities. By blending academic life with real digital experience, the program gives students a head start in Bahrain’s growing digital scene.
