His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has sent a cable of condolences to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, following the tragic passing of three diplomats from the Qatari delegation in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

In the message, His Majesty expressed his sincere sympathy to His Highness the Amir, the families of the deceased, and the people of Qatar, conveying his deep sorrow over the loss.
King Hamad also wished a swift and full recovery for those injured in the accident, reaffirming Bahrain’s solidarity with Qatar during this difficult time.
The diplomats were reportedly part of Qatar’s delegation in Sharm El Sheikh when the tragic incident occurred, prompting widespread condolences across the region.
The tragic incident comes just a day before Sharm el-Sheikh hosts a major peace summit chaired by U.S. President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. The summit will gather representatives from more than 20 nations to discuss pathways to ending the conflict in Gaza.
Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has identified the deceased as Saud bin Thamer Al Thani, Abdullah Ghanem Al Khayarin and Hassan Jaber Al Jaber. It added that two staff members — Abdullah Issa Al Kuwari and Mahma Abdul Aziz Al Buainain — were injured.
