The appearance of the new crescent moon signals the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan. For the chefs at the Al Areen Palace and Spa, Ramadan heralds the start of a month of daily preparation of delightful culinary creations presented each night.

For Iftar and Ghabga, Al Areen Palace Ramadan Tent takes on an Arabic theme for the month, with a special buffet of both local and regional Middle Eastern dishes. Priced at BHD 18.- for Iftar and BHD 20.- for Ghabga, diners can select from exquisitely prepared hot and cold mezzes, live grill stations, and traditional lamb ghouzi among an extensive selection of main course dishes.  The buffet also includes an assortment of traditional desserts including luqaimat, baklava and many other local favourites. Al Areen Palace Ramadan Tent can comfortably accommodate up to 300 guests for Iftar and Ghabga. For corporate events and family gatherings private event spaces are also available.

Cherish family time this Ramadan

Guests can experience Ramadan at our award-winning villas while relaxing in the tranquillity of the desert under the stars.  In-house guests will enjoy Iftar and Ghabga in the privacy of their luxury-appointed individual villas. A delectable mix of Middle Eastern artistry and contemporary design, each villa boasts its own private open air swimming pool and jet-pool, an enclosed courtyard and spacious majlis.

A Ramadan package in a Desert Pool Villa includes one night stay, with Iftar or Ghabga in the Al Areen Palace Ramadan Tent as well as Suhoor in the villa starting from BHD 189.-

In-villa Ramadan packages for Ghabga also available for a minimum of four guests with an extensive variety of local and regional dishes, starting from BHD 149 for four guests. Any additional guests will be charged BHD 25 per person. The villa accommodates up to 8 total guests, and the Ghabga is served until midnight.

Indulge in traditional Ghouzi in the comfort of home

During the holy month, let Al Areen Palace expert chefs take care of the cooking as they prepare a delicious Ghouzi to enjoy at home. Available to pre-order, Bahrain residents can celebrate the occasion and choose from an exclusive take away menu offering a traditional lamb Ghouzi accompanied with traditional accompaniments including fragrant rice.

The Whole Lamb Ghouzi with the traditional accompaniments is priced at BHD 220 and serves up to 10 people and Half Lamb Ghouzi is priced at BHD 110 serves four to six people. Both available for take away from Al Areen Palace throughout the month of Ramadan or with home delivery option with BHD 10 additional charge.
