Here's How Tom Hiddleston Captured Many Hearts at COMFEST

Marvel's Loki Tom Hiddleston captured many hearts at COMFEST 2024 Kuwait when he greeted them in Arabic by saying 'Assalamualaykum' (Peace be upon you).

Fans hooted and cheered for the star after which Hiddleston said, "Thank you for the most wonderful warm welcome!"

However, the Arabic greeting is not the only thing that caused a stir at Hiddleston's session at COMFEST on Thursday night. 

The Loki actor shared how he tried some traditional Arabic dishes for lunch, which had fans cheering yet again!

Hiddleston shared, "I had some delicious food! I had some mutabaq zubaidi and of course some majboos".

Fans continued to listen with rapt attention about Hiddleston's many firsts in Kuwait!

The first day of Kuwait's biggest pop culture event not only hosted the Loki star but also the beloved Harry Potter star Matthew Lewis who played Neville Longbottom in the HP franchise.

Lewis was very grateful for the warm reception he received at COMFEST from the cheering fans and he also shared his first impressions of Kuwait.

Lewis said, "It's (Kuwait) has been fantastic....I had some incredible food already....everyone has just been so kind, so polite, and so friendly."

COMFEST 2024 will run at The Arena Kuwait until Feb. 24, so visit this amazing pop culture convention soon!
