The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) has upgraded its fixed monthly deduction registration service through the Benefit mobile app. This step comes as part of ongoing government efforts to improve services, simplify procedures, and make customer transactions faster and easier.

With this upgrade, the service is now fully automated. The registration process, which previously took four working days, can now be completed instantly through the Benefit app. Subscribers can register electronically without the need to issue or sign agreements, and without waiting for banks to update the application status.

The improved service has also removed the need for supporting documents. In addition, service-level agreement requirements have been reduced by 100%, making the process more convenient for customers.
