Pakistan Shoots Down 25 Israeli-Made Drones from India

Pakistani military claimed on Thursday, May 8 that it shot down 25 Israeli-made drones from India that entered its airspace.

The country's military spokesperson, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, said that Indian-made Israeli Harop drones had been deployed to targets including Karachi and Lahore. 

According to the military, one civilian was killed and four Pakistani soldiers were injured in the drone attack. 

Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri emphasized on Thursday that any more Pakistani military attack will be considered an "escalation" and Pakistan will be held responsible for any attack on Indian infrastructure.

India's army said that they have "neutralized" any attempts made by Pakistan to engage military targets in the northern and western regions of India on Wednesday and early Thursday. 

India’s Ministry of Defence said that it had targeted Pakistani air defence systems, adding that 16 people were reportedly killed in Pakistani fire. 

Pakistan said that India's attacks killed 31 civilians on Wednesday.
