The Pakistani cricket board postponed it "indefinitely" on Thursday, May 8, because of the escalating tension between Pakistan and India.

The tournament was suspended after a drone fell near Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, which was due to host a game with foreign players from Australia, England, South Africa, West Indies, New Zealand, and Afghanistan.

The tournament has eight matches remaining with the final match scheduled on Sunday, May 18.

Foreign players were flown out after the tournament was suspended from a Rawalpindi airbase. However, it is unclear if these players will return to the tournament, which is likely to continue in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
