The Smashing Pumpkins are an American alternative rock band known for their distinctive blend of dreamy melodies, heavy guitar riffs, and introspective lyrics. The band's signature sound—helmed by frontman Billy Corgan—was further shaped by guitarist James Iha and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin, both of whom remain in the current lineup.
