So I'm driving down Main Street in Portland and you know how it is - craving some good eatin'. But little did my stomach anticipate, Maine's got its own secret sauce going on when comes weird laws. See this one thing they're super strict about? Lobster rolls! Yeah that right lobster freaking' roll sandwiches gotta be sold by hand at a counter or booth... crazy talk! Not even restaurants get to put those bad boys out for grabs in the open, like some kind of fancy French cafe setup - no way José. They got these special laws all set up about how you can and cannot serve 'em because why? Who knows! Maybe it's coz Maine folks are so used eatin' with their hands they don't wanna risk anyone gettin’ sauce on the wrong side a da lobster, whoa wait what was I say-ing again?!
