Hotel F&B Services in Bahrain Now Mandated to Close by 3 AM

Tourism Minister Fatima Al Sairafi has announced new regulations for hotel food and beverage services in Bahrain, requiring all operations to close by 3:00 AM. This change is part of Decision No. (10) of 2024, which updates the country’s hotel classification rules.

Restrictions on Entertainment Services
In addition to the new closing time, the rule also places restrictions on tourist-related activities, such as live music and DJ performances. These services must stop between 2:30 AM and 12:00 PM for some hotels, while others are prohibited from hosting such events until 6:00 PM. These changes aim to bring hotel operations in line with updated standards for food and beverage service.
Cancellation of Previous Regulations
The decision also repeals the 2023 regulations on working hours for hotel food and beverage services, as well as any other conflicting rules. The goal is to improve the regulation of hotel operations throughout Bahrain.
