Bahrain Post Launches Mobile Postal Services Across the Kingdom

A new digital initiative by the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications brings postal services on wheels to every governorate.

Bahrain Post has officially launched its innovative Mobile Postal Services Project, a major step by the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications to make postal services more accessible and efficient across the Kingdom.

The new service allows citizens and residents to complete postal transactions without visiting traditional post offices. Equipped with advanced systems, the mobile units will deliver a full range of postal services directly to neighborhoods and institutions—offering customers convenience, flexibility, and time-saving solutions.

Dr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al Haidan, Assistant Undersecretary for Postal Affairs, highlighted the project’s importance in modernizing Bahrain’s postal network. “This initiative reflects the ministry’s commitment to developing innovative solutions that support digital transformation and improve service quality across the Kingdom,” he said.

He added that this rollout is part of Bahrain Post’s broader strategy to expand its services and align with international best practices, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for individuals and organizations alike.

The Mobile Postal Service operates six days a week — from Saturday to Thursday, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. — covering multiple areas throughout Bahrain.
