Tensions flared in the Gulf on Tuesday as Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed a strike on a U.S. airbase in Bahrain.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), the IRGC said its naval forces launched 20 drones and 3 missiles at dawn targeting the Sheikh Isa area airbase. The statement claimed the base’s main command headquarters was destroyed, though there has been no independent verification.
