Speaking in a federal courtroom, the singer and former partner of Combs revealed that two years ago, she experienced a severe mental health crisis related to traumatic memories from their time together. Ventura told the court that she considered taking her own life, but was stopped by her husband and later sought therapy.

Her testimony marked one of the most powerful moments in the trial so far. On the witness stand, Ventura described feeling unsafe and said Combs used coercion and threats to maintain control over her. She told the court that Combs repeatedly threatened to release private footage of intimate encounters, which she stated were filmed without genuine consent and under emotional duress.

In one incident, Ventura claimed that Combs played one of the videos during a commercial flight as a way to intimidate her. She also testified that Combs threatened to release these recordings publicly after learning she had begun a relationship with fellow artist Kid Cudi.

Ventura also confirmed for the first time that she received a $20 million settlement from Combs following a civil lawsuit she filed against him.

The courtroom revelations have drawn significant public attention, shedding light on long-standing allegations and raising questions about the power dynamics within their high-profile relationship.

The trial continues as federal prosecutors pursue charges against Sean Combs related to alleged trafficking, racketeering, and abuse.
