GCC and Qatar Expected to Resolve Travel Issues within a Week

Several practical measures, including travel, transportation, trade will be resolved with Qatar within a week according to the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr Anwar Gargash.
In a briefing to the media on Thursday January 7, 2021, Dr Gargash said: “We expect to move very quickly on other issues”

Signed during the 41st GCC Summit in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, the Al Ula document was described by Dr Gargash as a “strategic document”.
That momentum, for the time being, is expected to be largely based on economic collaboration and investment. He added that despite some differences in approach, “there is an overall agreement on issues of security and stability”.
