The court also ordered the confiscation of the items used in the crime, which involved a brutal assault that led to the death of the victim. According to the investigation, the defendant attacked his roommate with a piece of stone, repeatedly striking him on the head inside their shared accommodation. The victim lost consciousness and was rushed to the hospital but sadly died from his injuries.
Security authorities were alerted and quickly notified the Public Prosecution, which launched an immediate investigation. A forensic expert was assigned to examine the circumstances of the death, and several witnesses were interviewed as part of the case.
The accused was arrested, questioned, and later referred to trial while in custody. After reviewing the evidence and hearing testimonies, the High Criminal Court found him guilty of premeditated murder.
Authorities say the ruling highlights the gravity of the crime and reinforces Bahrain’s commitment to justice and public safety.
