Apple has officially introduced iOS 26, and it’s a major update—both in style and smarts. iOS 26 also introduces Genmoji—a feature that lets users create new emoji combinations using text or their favorite emojis. Image Playground, on the other hand, brings more creative ways to generate custom content directly from the phone.

Shortcuts have been leveled up with intelligent suggestions and context-based actions. Apple Intelligence can also automatically track deliveries from emails—even if you didn’t use Apple Pay—making it easier to stay on top of your orders.

Better Calling Experience and Distraction-Free Features

The Phone app now combines Favorites, Recents, and Voicemail into a single clean layout. One new standout tool is Call Screening, which gathers info from unknown callers so users can decide whether to answer. For those annoying wait times, Hold Assist steps in by alerting the user when an actual agent is ready on the line.

Updates Across Apple Apps

Other core apps like Apple Music, CarPlay, Maps, Wallet, and Podcasts also get fresh updates. Apple Games, a new app, gives users a centralized hub for all their mobile games.

iOS 26 is clearly designed to make everyday iPhone use smarter, more stylish, and less disruptive—helping users stay connected, informed, and in control. The update rolls out later this year.
