The Philippine envoy, His Excellency Gines Jaime Ricardo D. Gallaga, formally presented his credentials to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during a ceremony at Sakhir Palace on January 20.

Strengthening Ties

Gallaga brought greetings and best wishes from President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and expressed gratitude for Bahrain’s policies and the warm treatment of over 55,000 Filipinos living and working in the country.

A New Chapter

He succeeds H.E. Anne Jalando-on Louis, who previously served as chargé d’affaires ad interim in Bahrain. Gallaga’s appointment marks a renewed focus on Philippine-Bahrain relations and support for the Filipino community in the kingdom.
