Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa joined Gulf leaders and US representatives at the recent Gulf-US Summit in Riyadh, delivering a message centered on peace, partnership, and long-term stability across the region.

He began his speech by thanking Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for hosting the summit and acknowledged the presence of US President Donald Trump as a symbol of strong ties between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the United States.

Praising US Efforts and Peace Initiatives

King Hamad congratulated President Trump on his election and commended his efforts in conflict resolution and peace-building. He pointed out that the US president’s vision aligned with the goals discussed during last year’s Bahrain Summit—especially in supporting a peaceful two-state solution in Palestine and lifting sanctions on Syria.

The King also called for a Middle East free of weapons of mass destruction and emphasized the importance of successful US-Iran negotiations in achieving lasting peace and stability.
