Bollywood Music Festival Rocks Doha as FIFA World Cup Approaches

Sunidhi Chauhan electrified the crowd as Salim-Sulaiman delighted and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan regaled them.

The 80,000-capacity Lusail stadium gleamed in gold on Friday, as artists inside put on a spectacular display for worldwide spectators, a large portion of whom came from South Asian countries.

The Bollywood Music Festival, organized by Qatar2022, was opened by composing pair Salim-Sulaiman, who got the audience to their feet by belting out iconic Bollywood tunes with their ensemble.

The over 35,000 fans who came to see the spectacle had purchased tickets despite the fact that only Haya card holders were permitted to attend. Another requirement was that tickets be purchased solely through the FIFA website.

The artists were astounded by Doha's transformation in just a few years. The musical event was held as part of the Darb Lusail Festival.

Salim-Sulaiman is a well-known composer, Sunidhi Chauhan is a well-known playback singer, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is a well-known name in Pakistan's music industry. Khan is also a well-known playback singer in Hindi cinema.
