Bahraini rapper Flipperachi has climbed Indian music charts and gained widespread attention after his track FA9LA was featured in the newly released Bollywood spy thriller Dhurandhar, marking a major milestone for Khaleeji hip-hop on the global stage.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt and Sara Arjun, with FA9LA playing during a pivotal scene involving Akshaye Khanna’s character. The high-energy track has since gained new momentum across India, introducing Flipperachi to a much wider audience.

Ranveer Singh, who plays the film’s lead role, amplified the buzz by sharing a clip from the movie on Instagram featuring the song, writing: “So here’s ‘THAT’ track from the movie. FLIPPERACHI.”

Flipperachi, whose real name is Hussam Aseem, is widely regarded as one of the Arab world’s leading Khaleeji hip-hop artists, known for blending Gulf sounds with contemporary rap. He was named Bahraini Artist of the Year 2024 and has built a reputation for cross-cultural collaborations and global reach.

The rapper’s international profile has been strengthened through collaborations with global artists such as The Game and Shaggy, as well as a recent project with basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal, creating a soundtrack for Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.

Dhurandhar opened strongly at the Indian box office, reportedly collecting ₹28.60 crore (around Dh11.67 million) on its first day and attracting audiences across urban and rural markets. The film’s sequel has already been announced and is set for release on March 19, 2026, according to its end credits.
