Here's How Much It Costs to Turn a Visit to Work or Relative Visa

Bahrain's Minister of Interior, Field Marshal Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, has announced adjustments to certain fees associated with services provided by the Nationality, Passports, and Residence Affairs.

Fee Modification

The recent decision pertains to item 22 of a prior directive (Decision No. 196 of 2014) concerning fees for visa-related services. Notably, the fee for converting a visit visa to either a work visa or a relatives visa, and for converting a relatives visa to a work visa, has been standardized at 250 Bahraini dinars.

Streamlining Processes

This modification is aimed at enhancing the efficiency of visa procedures and ensuring transparency for individuals seeking to alter their visa status within Bahrain. By establishing a fixed fee for specific visa conversions, the Ministry of Interior seeks to simplify administrative processes and provide clarity to residents navigating visa-related matters.

The adjustment underscores the government's commitment to improving service delivery and facilitating smoother interactions with immigration authorities. Residents are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the updated fee structure to expedite visa transactions and comply with regulatory requirements.
