The Gergaoon ‘Bus of Happiness’ Will Deliver Cheer to Kids in Bahrain

The Bahraini Ministry of Youth Affairs has announced it will send a "Bus of Happiness" across the Kingdom over two days to distribute the Gergaoon sweets and bring joy to the little ones.

The bus will tour the Northern and Southern governorates today, Wednesday, then head to the Capital and Muharraq governorates tomorrow, April 6th.

This initiative comes in cooperation with the Dabdoob application, which provides a large selection of toys for boys and girls in all categories in the GCC region. 

Gergaoon is a fun-packed tradition that is widely celebrated by children across Bahrain and the Gulf region around the middle of the holy month of Ramadan. 

Gergaoon celebrations are usually held in different locations in Bahrain, where children wear a traditional brightly coloured costume, and carry a bag which is then filled with candies from neighbours, families and friends.
