80% Hotels are Occupied in Bahrain

During the first quarter of this year, the rate of hotel occupancy, especially on weekends, exceeded 80 percent, according to the Chair of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), Fatima Al Sairafi. She presented these encouraging findings during a board meeting.

During the meeting, which was attended by Dr. Nasser Qaedi, the CEO of BTEA, the discussion also centered on upcoming tourism events that will take place at Exhibition World Bahrain.

The board meeting reviewed proposed tourism activities, emphasizing the significance of organizing additional events to increase the hotel occupancy rate. The meeting also highlighted the initiatives that were introduced during the first quarter, as well as upcoming events scheduled for the second quarter.
