Aisha Alharam Becomes First Bahraini to Win SSPI's 20 Under 35 Award

Bahrainis will be proud to know that Bahraini engineer Aisha Alharam became the first Bahraini winner of the “20 Young Leaders Under 35” Award 2023 presented by the Space and Satellite Professionals International (SSPI).

The most surprising factor about the news is that Aisha Alharam is only 25 years old and she has won such an accolade!

In the field of space, Alharam has developed various innovative technologies such as satellites that can monitor the environment, track natural disasters, and provide communication services to remote areas.

The winners will be honored and celebrated at the eighth Annual Future Leaders Ceremony this October during Silicon Valley Week in California, USA.

Alharam's achievement will inspire many women in Bahrain to pursue STEM careers, and with such an innovator as her, Bahrain's future in innovation and space is bright!
