HH Sheikh Nasser Wins Monpazier Endurance Championship in 160km Race

The Bahraini jockey and Royal Endurance Team Captain, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has won the Monpazier Endurance Championship title for a distance of 160 km.

The race took place in France on Friday, August 25th.

This came just six months after Sheikh Nasser claimed the World Endurance Championship in Abu Dhabi, riding the same horse, Darco La Majorie.

HH Shaikh Nasser won the race after clocking 8 hours, 32 minutes and 50 second. 

Meanwhile, Royal Endurance Team rider, Mohammed Al-Hashimi, came in second place after finishing the race in 8 hours, 33 minutes and 15 seconds.

Jockeys from many countries took part in the 160-km race, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Algeria, France, Austria, Romania, Australia, Chinese Taipei, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, USA and Colombia.
