Bahraini Chef Tala Bashmi Shines at Best Chefs Award 2023

Bahraini culinary virtuoso Tala Bashmi has achieved an outstanding milestone by clinching the Rising Star Award at the esteemed Best Chefs Award 2023 gala in Mexico. Notably, she also secured the 63rd spot among the world's top 100 chefs.

Tala Bashmi's gastronomic creations serve as a beacon of innovation and rich flavors, firmly placing Bahrain on the global culinary map.

Renowned as a highly skilled chef and accomplished restaurateur, Bashmi earned the title of the best female chef in the Middle East and North Africa region in 2021.

In 2017, Bashmi assumed leadership at Fusions restaurant, located in the Gulf Hotel Bahrain, where she skillfully crafts modern interpretations of traditional Bahraini dishes. The restaurant, renamed Fusions by Tala in 2020, recently achieved the prestigious 3rd position in the region at the Mena's 50 Best Restaurants awards for 2023.

Tala Bashmi embarked on her culinary journey in 2014 after completing her culinary arts education in Switzerland. Over the years, she has amassed numerous accolades, solidifying her popularity in Bahrain and the countries of the region as a distinguished figure in the culinary realm.
