Bahrain International Airport is stepping up its game in luxury travel. A brand-new private jet terminal is on the way — designed to welcome high-profile travelers, business executives, and jet-setters from across the globe.
The project, developed by Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) in partnership with Valo Aviation, is part of the kingdom’s broader plan to strengthen its aviation sector and attract international investment.
What to Expect from the VIP Terminal
Covering 6,000 square meters, the upcoming facility will handle the latest generation of private jets — think Falcon 10X and Gulfstream G700 — while keeping them separate from commercial traffic.
For travelers, this means faster arrivals, enhanced privacy, and five-star service from the moment they land. The terminal will feature private lounges, direct customs clearance, and concierge-level care, giving Bahrain’s luxury tourism scene a serious boost.
Valo Aviation Expands Its Footprint
Valo Aviation isn’t just developing the terminal — it’s also expanding its fleet. The company recently added a Dassault Falcon 8X, the first of its kind registered under Bahrain’s Civil Aviation Affairs. The move signals the country’s growing presence in the global private aviation scene.
Building for a Greener Future
The new terminal will also incorporate eco-friendly technology as part of Bahrain’s push for sustainable aviation. Expect energy-efficient systems and greener operations to help reduce the airport’s carbon footprint — aligning with the kingdom’s environmental goals.
According to Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, the project is a key step toward improving Bahrain’s air transport infrastructure while drawing more investors and high-end travelers to the island.
Why It Matters
With this facility, Bahrain positions itself as a regional hub for luxury and business aviation, catering to those who value exclusivity, convenience, and sustainability. It’s not just about travel — it’s about redefining what it means to arrive in style.
