The Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa instructed the Ministry of Finance and National Economy to disburse all government employees' salaries on May 21st.

The decision was made to reduce the time period between April's early salary payment for Eid and the salary payment for May, which will allow government employees to meet the demands of their living costs.
The decision was shared at the weekly cabinet meeting at the Gudaibiya Palace. Various other decisions were made at the meeting and several memoranda were discussed. The Cabinet also congratulated the winners of the Prime Minister's Award for Journalism and Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition.
