Travellers going between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain on the King Fahd Causeway will no longer need to stop and pay cash after the launch of new e-gates.

The King Fahd Causeway Authority (KFCA) has introduced four e-payment services through its Jesr app to make crossing the major bridges on both sides easier.
Travellers now will be able to pass through e-gates instead of stopping.
The King Fahd Causeway is a 25 km long series of bridges and causeways connecting Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and Al Jasra, Bahrain.
