Bahraini Citizens Get the Opportunity to Study in Japan for Free

The Embassy of Japan in Bahrain has announced that Japan is offering the 2024 Japanese Government Scholarship for Research Students, which covers all costs of studying in Japan.

Bahraini citizens who are aged under 35 years and who hold an undergraduate degree are eligible to apply for this scholarship. 

The scholarship covers the costs for everything including student visa, travel to and from Japan, tuition fees, and a monthly allowance that covers the costs of living in Japan.

The program runs for either one and a half or two years, depending on the student's program choice. Furthermore, the program includes six months of Japanese language training. 

The scholarship will be provided by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT). The scholarship will be offered in the hopes of promoting international cooperation. 

The scholarship application's deadline is May 18th, 2023 and the first screening will be held in June 2023.
