Embassy of Japan in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Japan Foundation and Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities jointly announce the Japan Film Festival 2023.

The festival provides the audiences with an opportunity to immerse into the rich world of Japanese cinema and get introduced to the Japanese culture and art. All films will have English subtitles, ensuring that the cultural experience is accessible to all. The screening entrance is for free and will be available for individuals aged 6 years & above.

The festival will feature two screenings of films handpicked from the Japanese Film Library.  15 February: DESTINY: The Tale of Kamakura 17 February: ON-GAKU: Our Sound.

The Japan Film Festival 2023 is also a valuable chance to showcase the continued efforts to promote cultural exchange and understanding between Japan and Bahrain.
