Bahrain's Team Arrived in Dubai for Training Before the AFC Asian Cup

Bahrain's national team arrived in Dubai on Jan. 2 for the final training camp before the upcoming AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023. 

The delegation that travelled to Dubai for the training session included the 26 players listed to participate in the AFC Asian Cup tournament in Qatar.

Bahrain's national team had their first on-pitch session with their coach Juan Antonio Pizzi at Dubai's JA Sports Center. 

The team will have a friendly match against Australia on Saturday, Jan. 6.

They will also have an informal training match against Angola on Jan. 10.

Bahrain in the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023

The national team is in Group E of the AFC Asian Cup preliminary round with Jordan, Malaysia, and South Korea. 

Bahrain will play against these teams on the following dates:

• Bahrain vs. South Korea: Jan. 15.

• Bahrain vs. Malaysia: Jan. 20.
• Bahrain vs. Jordan: Jan. 25.

AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023

Qatar is hosting this tournament for the third time from Jan. 12 to Feb. 10. 

The AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 will include 24 national teams from Asia competing with each other to win the AFC Asian Cup trophy. 

The tournament's matches will be held in various stadiums across Qatar.
