The Central Bank of Bahrain Warns Against Scam Calls

The Central Bank of Bahrain has warned the public about scam calls when fraudulent people pretend to represent financial institutions like Bahrain Bourse and Bahrain Clear in order to scam individuals. 

The central bank shared the warning in a social media post and stressed that people in Bahrain should avoid these calls when callers pretend to offer investment opportunities and financial advice from reputable financial institutions.

The Central Bank of Bahrain is a public corporate entity, which was established by the Central Bank of Bahrain and Finacial Institutions Law 2006. 

The central bank is responsible for maintaining financial stability in the Kingdom and it is the only integrated regulator of Bahrain's financial industry.
