Bahrain to Implement New Initative to Curb Inflation

Bahrain's Ministry of Industry and Commerce has announced that they will implement an initiative to combat inflation in the Kingdom. 

The ministry will launch the consumer protection initiative for commercial entities in the country that sell food products and other commodities in Bahrain. 

The price of food in Bahrain increased by 6.70% in April 2023, compared to the same month in 2022, which has increased the burden of living costs for people in the country.

The initiative will reduce the price of 10 food products by 10%. This initiative will help reduce the burden of living costs in Bahrain and improve affordability for the country's citizens and residents.
