Bahrain Holds Color Run Event on Feb 18th

Bahrain is holding the fun Color Run event on Saturday, February 18th, within the surrounding area of Bahrain National Stadium at 8 a.m. to get covered in a cloud of color from head to toe.

The event is organized by International School Sport Federation (ISF Bahrain) and Bahrain Road Runners (BRR), under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. 

The total distance you will run with your family and friends is 2 kilometers.

Color Run celebrates happiness, healthiness, and individuality. 

"BRR aspires to bring participants together as a community by offering a supportive, energetic and empowering environment for people pursuing a healthy and active lifestyle," it said on its website. 

In 2015, the Kingdom's first color run event took place on January 16th at Amwaj Marina and attracted the participation of over 600 adults and 200 kids.
