Bahrain Inaugurates Bangladeshi Artist Jahangir Hossain's Exhibition

The Embassy of Bangladesh in Manama has organized a solo art exhibition of the renowned Bangladeshi freelance artist Jahangir Hossain for the second time in Bahrain, which will remain open to the public until February 13th. 

The exhibition, titled "Life in Motion", is taking place at the Mall of Dilmunia in Muharraq city in collaboration with the "Colours of the East" art gallery.

A member of the National Council for Arts, Shaikha Dhuwa Bint Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, inaugurated the exhibition as a representative of the President of the council.

The artist toured the exhibition with guests to show them his artworks, and they also enjoyed traditional Bangladeshi sweets along with tea and coffee later during the event.

In 2021, Hossain's artworks were exhibited at the Bahrain Art Centre when the Embassy collaborated with Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA).
