Here's What Bahrain Would Look Like in the Barbie World

The much anticipated Barbie movie has finally been released worldwide to overwhelmingly great reviews. Before the Barbie movie's release, a lot of creators used AI to generate illustrations of Barbie that represented the country they were from.

Numerous Bahraini digital artists created pieces of digital art that envisioned Bahrain as a place in the Barbie world.

Bahraini digital artist Ahmed Fuad said, “I reimagined how Bahrain would look like in a Barbie world and I used an application called Procreate on my iPad Pro to do so.”

I was inspired by the campaign’s ability to evoke a sense of joy, empowerment, and inclusivity, and I aimed to infuse these elements into my artwork,” artist Layan Raed Al Samahiji said. “My artwork, Bahrain Barbie land, is a captivating representation of the rich and diverse culture of Bahrain.”
