Bahrain Ranks in the Top 100 Countries for Hosting Events, Conventions

Bahrain has regained its position in the top 100 countries in the International Congress & Convention Association (ICCA) global rankings for hosting international association events.

The Gulf country has secured the 89th spot on the list, after a five-year hiatus. This is also the highest rating for Bahrain in the past decade. 

The ranking evaluates several factors such as the number of international meetings held, the attendance figures, and the average duration of stays for participants in host countries.

With Bahrain's return to the ICCA rankings, the Kingdom has reaffirmed its status as an influential player in the international conventions and exhibitions industry.

This showcases the Kingdom's prowess in organizing international events at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre in 2022.

Since its opening last year, the centre has welcomed more than 250,000 local and international visitors through its diverse array of activities.
