Bahrain to Simplify Purchasing and Registering Drones’ Process

Bahrain will introduce a streamlined web-based drone licensing system supported by a mobile application to simplify the registration process for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (drones) in the country, according to the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications.

The web-based Drone Hub System will be used to help the Aviation Safety and Security Directorate and the Aeronautical Licences Directorate manage the drone approval process.

The platform will include both public and government portals, making the process extremely simple.

Tenders for potential developers have been issued.
